The international law firm Jones Day at the time of the project was the largest legal practice in the United States. The project is a new workplace in New York which occupies the top 7 floors of a building in the financial district. Visitors arrive on the 34th floor into a reception lobby flanked by a waiting area with a large outdoor terrace - views facing north across the city. The top floor is primarily used for client serving while the remaining floors are geared toward the practice. Portions of the existing structural floor slabs were removed to created a new feature stair connecting all floors.
